Anemone 'Dainty Swan'

Anemone is a large group of flowering plants that is part of the Ranunculacea family. They are commonly called Windflowers.They are native to subtropical areas of most continents. They typically grow 1-2 feet tall and about the same in width. They prefer part sun or dappled shade, but can do well in most conditions except full sun. They all feature tall upright flower stems with small, 1.5" flowers in shades of pink and white.

Gorgeous white petals with a pink backing give this bloom a unique two-toned look. Blooms in August into fall. Low maintenance, long blooming and deer resistance are just a few of the traits that will make you need this perennial in your garden.

Best is grown in full sun to partial shade in average to moist, well-drained soils. A good choice for a cut flower as well.
