Fagus grandifolia

The American Beech tree is one of the most stately trees found in the northeast US. The wide canopy provides great shade in summer and in the fall is draped in beautiful bronze shades. Although it’s slow growing, it can grow extremely large and live for hundreds of years. Expect mature trees to reach 50-80 feet tall and 60 feet wide. Great for adding wide, low canopy to your landscape. Yellow fall color is exceptional. Native to the northeast US.

Plant American Beech in full sun to part shade, in well drained to dryer soil. Because of its size and spread, its not well suited for small spaces or urban settings.

Arrives to you in a 2 gallon-sized pot, about 2 feet tall.
