Commonly called 'African Mask Plant.'

Native to the rainforest of the southern hemisphere, Alocasia are a large family of plants commonly noted for their upright leaf structure. They have become popular houseplants with enthusiasts due to their leaf shape/size, growth rate and (generally) high ease of caring for. Maharani's leaves are rounded, deeply textured, matte finished with small but deeply cut veining throughout. A silvery gray color that is very different from most other Alocasia.

Water: Water often, at least twice per week. It's important to plant these in pots with drainage holes to ensure proper drainage. Maharani will also benefit from regular misting.

Light: Prefers bright light that is not direct, like in or near a window.

Temperature: Performs best in temperatures between 65 degrees and 85 degrees.
