Ajuga reptans 'Silver Queen'

Commonly called Bugleweed, Ajuga is a small spreading groundcover that creates compact coverage. The gray-green colored foliage of 'Silver Queen' has irregular creamy-white edges. Accompanied by beautiful purple-blue flowers, you can expect blooms from spring to early summer (May - June).

Plant in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil. To get the best foliage color, be sure to plant in part shade. 

Works well along borders, around shrubs, in rock gardens or in containers. A low maintenance perennial, Ajuga makes an excellent groundcover as it forms a mat and helps to suppress weeds. Compliments other shade plants such as Heuchera, Brunnera, Hosta and Pulmonaria.
