Ajuga reptans 'Golden Glow'

Commonly called Bugleweed, Ajuga is a small spreading groundcover that creates compact coverage. The variegated yellow and green colored foliage of 'Golden Glow' turns a rosy color in cooler weather. Accompanied by beautiful blue flowers, you can expect blooms from early to mid-spring.

Plant in full sun to full shade with moist, well-drained soil. To get the best foliage color, be sure to plant in part shade. 

Works well along borders, around shrubs, in rock gardens or in containers. A low maintenance perennial, Ajuga makes an excellent groundcover as it forms a mat and helps to suppress weeds. Compliments other shade plants such as Heuchera, Brunnera, Hosta and Pulmonaria.
