Agastache 'Sunrise Blue'

Also known as Giant Hyssop, Agastache ‘Sunrise Blue’ is a great performing perennial in the garden. Four inch long bloom spikes are comprised of small tube-shaped flowers that open in a lavender-blue color atop square stems. Expect blooms from summer through to fall (July - September). The downy undersides of the leaves are also aromatic with a minty-anise fragrance.

'Sunrise Blue' is an important pollinating perennial that birds, butterflies and bees will flock to, as well as being a magnet for hummingbirds. Plant in full sun with average, well drained garden soil. Once established, these plants can tolerate some heat and drier soils. Removing spent flowers will promote new blooms.

This long blooming perennial is perfect for sunny borders, butterfly and cottage gardens. It also makes a great cut flower and is a nice choice for along walkways due to it's aromatic qualities. Plant Agastache with Rudbeckia, Coneflowers, Salvia and Solidago as companions in the garden.

Available in quarts.
