Prunus maritima

A native plum tree that produces huge amounts of small delicious plums! Beach plum features showy-white flowers that appear in May. The thick bushy growth forms a thicket valuable for bird nesting, roosting, and animal loafing and bedding. The fruit makes excellent jellies and preserves, or may be eaten raw or cooked. Arrives to you in a 3-gallon container about 12-18" tall, as shown in photo 4.

Please note- Beach plum does not in as male and female, but the plants cannot fertilize themselves, so you still need two for cross-pollination.
